Founded 75 years ago by families in the Reformed tradition, East Palmyra Christian School now serves as a thriving partnership of families from many churches across a dozen different denominations. Responsibilities
The humanities teacher will teach middle school and high school literature and history courses at our growing Christian, covenantal, classical school. This role involves developing and delivering engaging curriculum that integrates a Christian worldview with the study of Western civilization's great works and historical developments while nurturing the spiritual and intellectual growth of adolescent students.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be a committed Christian who is currently an active member of a local Bible-believing church and demonstrates a consistent Christian worldview in both teaching and life. Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree or possess qualifying employment history that demonstrates readiness for this teaching role. Preferred majors include Social Studies Education for grades 7-12 or English Language Arts Education for grades 7-12, though candidates with other relevant educational backgrounds and a demonstrated love for literature and history will also be considered.

This position is available as either full-time or part-time employment, allowing for flexibility based on the needs of both the school and the candidate.
